Group Clinical Supervision in Melbourne & Online

Group Clinical Supervision in Melbourne & Online Australia-Wide

Connect. Reflect. Learn. Grow Together.

Strengthen your clinical confidence, deepen your professional knowledge and connect with fellow practitioners in a safe, supportive and collaborative group supervision environment.

Facilitated by Phuong Tran, an experienced Clinical Psychotherapist, Clinical Counsellor and Registered Clinical Supervisor, group clinical supervision provides a valuable opportunity to explore clinical challenges, share professional experiences and learn from different perspectives.

Whether you are a student counsellor, early-career practitioner or experienced mental health professional, our group supervision sessions support your clinical development, ethical practice and professional wellbeing.

A Supportive Space to Learn, Reflect and Grow Together

Working as a counsellor, psychotherapist or mental health professional can be rewarding, but it also comes with challenging decisions, emotional demands and complex client situations.

Sometimes, you may question your clinical approach, feel uncertain about an ethical dilemma or wish to hear how other practitioners might respond to a similar situation.

You do not have to navigate every professional challenge alone.

Group clinical supervision creates a structured and respectful space where practitioners come together to explore clinical experiences, share knowledge and support one another’s professional development.

Through guided discussion and reflective learning, you can discover new perspectives, recognise your clinical strengths and develop greater confidence in your professional judgement.

Group supervision is not simply about discussing cases. It is about building professional connection, strengthening clinical competence and developing the capacity to practise safely, ethically and sustainably.

How Our Group Supervision Sessions Work

  1. Connect in a Respectful Professional Space

Each session creates opportunities for practitioners to connect, establish shared learning goals and participate within agreed group boundaries.

  2. Share Clinical Experiences and Challenges

Participants may bring de-identified cases, ethical dilemmas, therapeutic questions or areas of professional uncertainty for discussion.

  3. Explore Different Clinical Perspectives

Through facilitated reflection, participants consider therapeutic approaches, case formulations, professional responsibilities and possible ways forward.

  4. Apply Learning to Clinical Practice

The group identifies practical insights, professional development priorities and opportunities to strengthen future clinical work.

Each session is guided by principles of respectful communication, confidentiality, participation and professional accountability.

Group supervision is a professional learning process rather than personal therapy. Client information must be appropriately de-identified, and group members share responsibility for maintaining confidentiality within its professional and legal limits.
